Station House Inn South Lake Tahoe

Very warm and welcoming receptionists, nice outdoor area to work on a laptop or sit around fire, tea/coffee available all day, pet-friendly, cute Friday movie night with popcorn, close to everything. The lake is few minutes away on foot. Good restaurant nearby and a hidden gem taco place just across the street, one street over. Very pleasant impression overall.

Station House Inn is a wonderful family and dog friendly place. The customer service is excellent! We loved the heated pool, comfortable lobby filled with couches, games & complimentary tea & coffee. The grounds were well kept, the fire pits were nice and it was fun playing a game of cornhole. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beach, casinos, shops etc…are all walking distance. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay. You cannot beat the location. We were in town for the golf tournament and just rode our bikes from the hotel, although we could have walked easily. It’s an older hotel, clean, very poor lighting in the rooms tho. Very pricey to stay for the tournament weekend. The pool area was nice. Each room had their own mini split so we were able to stay nice and cool.

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and details of the room and the whole inn itself. Super cozy vibes and I also loved the scents of their shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion! They also provided a complimentary drink upon check in. I enjoyed their lobby area which had shelves of books and games and a TV area. They provided a self-serving tea and coffee and snacks bar also. Staff were helpful and kind.

So I’ve finally found a hotel I’m gonna stay every time I visit Lake Tahoe ! I need to specially call out the great attention we got by the staff on Christmas Eve. We were spoiled with marshmallows in the bonfire! She even gave us towels to use to avoid getting wet by the snow and really we felt at home! Please do not hesitate to stay here ! Plus the hotel is really more than we can ask for !
